You caught me playing with the photo editor again. Look at me being good and posting 2 days in row!! Gatherer has started fasting again so I was a little nervous for this option for dinner. I'm starting with a shorter fast in which I basically skip breakfast and eat a later lunch so I'm still putting in 2 meals just in a narrow time frame . Was concerned I would still feel hungry as this was day one but honestly it was perfect. The natives ate in what we call the tv room, I was going to eat with Hunter but he had some business stuff to which he needed to attend so I missed any real feedback loop from the collective on this one. Hunter did say when he ate his that it was really good, but he was probably starving. Native 2 said "yeah it was good" vs when he thought he was going to have to eat the fancy grilled cheese from yesterday and almost cried (I swear I didn't think he disliked it that much at the time). HelloFresh was the supplier, link for recipe in the picture. I would say it was a solid 4 or 5 sweet teas. This was another meal with easy to source easy to remake items. Probably the most difficult-to-find item in my store is easily the stock concentrate but even that has been easier to track down as of late. I was full enough and enough glasses of wine into the evening that I didn't miss the dessert I skipped. There was a decent amount left over so we probably all could have had an additional wrap (I called them tacos cause I didn't actually wrap mine) if wanted. The natives are getting to the point where they eat almost as much as an adult so we are getting fewer and fewer leftovers from our kits.

First day of fasting went okay. I actually wasn't hungry by the time I could eat lunch according to the timer so I just rode it out until I wanted lunch. Today I was hungry by noon but I was okay with eating "on time" because I didn't start the fasting timer the night before anyway. I figure cutting back on the total number of calories in general will help even if my times aren't great. Yesterday I put in a solid workout that I felt this morning. I should have done a little plyo but I did push the sled for the first time in months. I had a chat with one of the instructors that has been taking the small group with me. I know she probably thinks I'm crazy now but it was nice talking to someone around my age who has kids and responsibilities to mine and I was able to have a discussion with someone about the weird place I've been in lately and about how I need to get back to focusing on me in the gym. Leave it up to me to try and lose weight in the middle of the holiday season but I'm going with a new me resolution rather than a New Year's resolution I guess. Always a work in progress.
