One Week

Okay its been longer than one week, but it was the first song I could think of that mentioned time so you get a good ol' Barenaked Ladies reference. I wouldn't say we've been super busy, just consistently busy to where sitting down to write wasn't a priority. Marathon training is going well. I have successfully finished every single run. I have started running outdoors (but not when it rains), I've started mapping out runs in advance. I've signed up for some virtual 5K races while we are on vacation and a half marathon (all of this is written in the training) I'm doing as I'm told...for once. I'm slightly nervous (read that as damn near terrified) about my 7 mile run this weekend. It is a literal mile farther than I have ever run in my life. To catch you up on the lives of the Natives, they spent a week at the cave of their elders (grandparents), and are currently living their best lives at soccer camp. Native 2 has left or tried to leave at least 1 thing at camp every afternoon. Native 1 claims he is not making friends, but has informed me he definitely has convinced one kid not to be a bully anymore and seems to be the ring leader of the goalie tribe. Indoor futsal starts tonight and apparently I'm supposed to help coach? Lort help these chillren. Hunter is busy doing hunter things to earn our pukka shells, Gatherer's place of pukka shell distribution is in a major tribal leadership change and she wonders if she will be colleting her shells much longer and is considering looking for a new place to earn her pukka shells.
